Holi event at UNC this week!

Holi is a South Asian spring festival celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs that celebrates the energy and life of the season. Carolina celebrates by letting students run around on the quad throwing colored powder and water at each other. If you would like to read anymore about it, you can read about this popular culture event here:http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/hinduism/holydays/holi_1.shtml
